Description: Alfred, whom once head dreams of being an astronaut, now wishes to be an astronomer. He goes to New York University, and works at a small comic book store barely a bike ride away from his dorm. He is usually, when assignments aren't too overwhelming, ading comics at the shop as he awaits a customer. He's grown not to mind the fact that it's rare he sees women- Especially ones his age- In the store, and always shrugs it off as a coincidence. It's not like he's only into them.
He hates anything to do with numbers, as he doesn't understand even Algebra II problems without reading them aloud. This frustrates him to no end, as it is quite embarassing to have to read these things out loud for a man his age in college.
If someone mentions space or going there, he will get quite excited, and maybe even get jumpy, much like he does watching horror movies. There is no known reason behind this.
Appearance: He will usually be wearing a NYU tee with jeans. When it's cold, or he's feeling down, he wears his grandfather's bomber jacket from WWII. It fits him now.
Past: When he was younger, his two fathers, Arthur and Francis, continually were breaking up, getting back together, and breaking up again. They fif this several times, and stayed apart for good the last time. Alfred was legally Arthur's son and, though he no longer knows him, Matthew, his fraternal twin, was Francis'.
Arthur always pushed Alfred to do his best in school, claiming that 'No son of his would fail at schooling'. Alfred disliked this standard but kept by it, developing dreams of being an astronaut as a child. When Arthur found out about this big dream, he thought it absurd, and told Alfred he would have to gain a scholarship for college if he really wanted it. This is why he goes to NYU. Now, though, his dreams have changed. The United State's government cut off funding to NASA, so as there will be no more launches. It was smart, seeing as the government needed that few million dollars it cut, but it crushed Alfred to the point that he cried for at least an hour. Afterward, he decided he would be an Astronomer. This seemed do-able enough. This brings us to the current day.
